Breathwork is a general term for a variety of techniques that allow conscious control of the breath. overall meant to enhance and elevate spiritual well-being and health.  Depending on the tradition of the technique the history varies... But all lineages and all of our ancestors knew how important breath is. Evolutionarily… It’s the way we’ve been able to live and evolve... Truly our life force.

When should you use Breathwork??? 

As often as possible!!! As many of you know... We live in an “always-on” culture… A “sympathetic society” that’s constantly worrying about the future or ruminating about the past… with our breath restricted up in the chest. The mind does not differentiate between real and imagined.  The reels we constantly replay become our reality and keep us in a shorter shallow breathing space. Really focusing on the breath takes you out of the past and the future and into the now. The more we practice… The easier it is to get into that more relaxed and calm state on a more frequent basis. Plus... The more we do it the easier it gets. Eventually it becomes your go-to in times of calm or joy and in times of stress or struggle. Full and deep belly breaths are how we’re meant to live and thrive.
